Set within the heart of Yorkville, this six storey office development blends heritage character with a striking contemporary addition. The project begins with the careful renewal of an existing historic building, where the façade is re-clad in warm limestone and paired with new black metal framed windows and doors. These upgrades bring a fresh clarity to the original architecture while preserving its familiar scale and charm along the street.
About the project
Rising behind the heritage structure, two new office levels introduce a completely different expression: a refined, floor to ceiling glass volume that appears to hover lightly above the traditional stone base. In the rendering, this upper addition reads as a clean, luminous box, defined by transparent curtain wall panels that reveal activity inside and create a soft glow at dusk. The contrast between the solid, sculpted heritage massing and the airy modern extension gives the building a distinctive profile that feels both respectful and forward looking.
A landscaped forecourt and discreet, high end arrival sequence reinforce the Yorkville setting, while the seamless connection between old and new offers tenants a unique workplace experience rooted in history yet oriented to the future.
